Core Values

Growing up in a military family and serving in the Air National Guard for six years instilled in me a profound commitment to three core values embraced by the Air Force: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.

 

Integrity First: For me, Integrity First means exercising courage, honesty, and accountability to do what is right, even in the absence of oversight (Proverbs 10:9). It's about controlling impulses and adhering to a moral compass that guides every action.

Service Before Self: Service Before Self is a core value I live by, grounded in the discipline to follow rules, exhibit self-control, and foster respect for the beliefs, authority, and worth of others (Matthew 20:28). It's a commitment to a higher purpose that extends beyond personal interests.

​

Excellence in All We Do: Excellence in All We Do is a continual pursuit of improvement in both self and service. This value propels me forward, driving me to achieve greater accomplishments and performance for myself and others (2 Peter 1:5). It's a dedication to constant growth and the pursuit of the highest standards.

These core values are not just principles I adhere to; they are the foundation of my character and guide my actions in every aspect of life.

Underdog Mentality

The Underdog Mentality is rooted in setting your mind on winning against all odds, a mindset exemplified by David when he faced and defeated Goliath (1 Samuel 17:32-51). David, despite being underestimated in terms of age, occupation, dress, height, and skills, triumphed over the giant with nothing more than a smooth stone and a sling.

Much like David, we often find ourselves facing situations where our perceived limitations overshadow our potential. The Underdog Mentality teaches us to shift our focus from what we lack to recognizing that, like David, we possess everything needed to fulfill our purpose and overcome challenges. It serves as a powerful reminder that with determination, faith, and resourcefulness, we can accomplish whatever God has called us to do.

ALL IN 

I am often perceived as an extremist because I wholeheartedly commit to giving 100% in every endeavor. This approach is rooted in the belief that to achieve the best for both myself and my clients, I must consistently offer my utmost effort (Luke 6:38). It's a principle based on the understanding that giving my best is not only a personal commitment but a catalyst for bringing out the best in others.

Progression Over Perfection

Recognizing that none of us are perfect, and yet, we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14), underscores the importance of embracing continual growth and improvement. The key is to be relentless in our pursuit of learning, evolving, and progressing. Shifting the focus from achieving perfection to making progress not only makes the journey more enjoyable but also significantly increases our chances of reaching our goals.
