Meet Davina Shirley – Coach, Mentor, Speaker, and Educator

 

I am Davina Shirley, a coach dedicated to helping individuals discover their true purpose, grow through adversity, and lead lives of intention and fulfillment. I have lived in Ohio, Maryland, Georgia, and Colorado. Life coaching has allowed me to connect with clients from any location through virtual platforms like Microsoft Teams. My journey in education and coaching began in 2020 when I took on the role of Academic Coach, empowering students to achieve academic and personal success. Since then, I have expanded my work across various fields, guiding individuals toward transformation and growth.

Leadership and development have always been at the core of my career. As an Academic Coach, I didn’t just help students improve academically—I empowered them to grow personally, build confidence, and embrace their potential. This same drive shapes my coaching practice today. I work with adults and teens to help them uncover their strengths, set meaningful goals, and overcome the challenges that stand in their way.

Since March 2023, I’ve been mentoring with Save Our Youth, building impactful relationships with young people and helping them develop resilience and self-worth. Mentorship isn’t a one-time encounter—it’s a long-term commitment to walking alongside someone through their journey. That’s exactly how I approach my coaching relationships as well.

As a speaker, I bring passion and insight to every engagement. Whether leading a workshop or delivering a motivational talk, I aim to provide practical tools and a renewed sense of purpose. My focus on personal growth inspires others to take actionable steps toward their goals.

My coaching is deeply rooted in faith, which guides not only my work but my life. I believe our purpose is God-given, and every challenge we face can strengthen our faith and resilience. Resilience, to me, isn’t about avoiding hardships—it’s about walking through the fire with faith and coming out renewed. My own experiences have shaped my ability to help others do the same. I know firsthand what it takes to overcome adversity, and that understanding fuels my dedication to helping clients face their challenges with courage, confidence, and trust in God’s plan.
